Facility Policies

Footwear

  • No outdoor cleats. Only turf shoes or tennis shoes are allowed on the turf. 

Outside Food & Drinks Policy

  • No outside food and drinks are allowed into the building.
  • No chewing gum allowed.

Inclement Weather Policy

  • We will remain open and continue scheduled activities UNLESS a Level 3 Emergency is declared for Franklin County.  Please check with your coordinator, coach, or team manager to receive any updates regarding your team’s activities.

Waivers

  • All participants must have signed a valid Stars Indoor Sports Waiver & Release form. All individuals 18 years or older must sign the waiver for themselves. All individuals under 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the waiver. Any individuals who do not have a valid waiver on file cannot participate in any programs offered at Stars Indoor Sports.

Filming Inside of Stars Indoor Sports is Not Permitted

  • All soccer games are live-streamed and recorded through LiveBarn. This is a subscription based service. Stars Indoor Sports customers can receive a discount for this service when they use the code “strs-indr”. The filming of games by individuals inside of the facility is not permitted.

First Aid

  • An AED is located outside of the customer service office at the front of the building for emergency use. The AED location can be found on the Facility Map.

Birthday Parties

Booking

Payments

  • Deposits are fully refundable up to 48 hours prior to your originally scheduled party date. Refunds on parties cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the originally scheduled party date will not be given.
  • The remaining party package balance and any additional child fees and inflatable add-on fees are due on the day of the party. 

Food and Drinks

  • No outside food and drinks are allowed except for a birthday cake or cupcakes.
  • Party guests will be asked to select their food options when they arrive for the birthday party. The food options can be found HERE

Adult Soccer

Registration

  • Team and individual registration is accepted.
  • Individual registrations will receive their team assignments following the registration deadline.

Soccer League Rules

Team Fees

  • A $200 deposit is due upon registering your team to the league. 
  • Team fees must be paid in full before your first game. Any team with a balance after your first game will receive a $100 late fee. 

The Game

  • Games are 44 minutes long with a running clock. There is no halftime. 
  • All adult leagues are 7v7. Coed teams must have 2 females on the field at all times. 
  • Goal difference will be capped at a 5-goal differential
    • Example: Team A beats Team B 7-1. This game will show a score of 6-1 as Team A can only have a maximum goal differential of +5.
  • If a team cannot field the minimum number of players 10 minutes after their game is scheduled to start, that team will forfeit the game. Teams must have a minimum of five players to begin a game. For Coed leagues, one female player must be present. Forfeits are scored as 5-0.  

Equipment

  • Shinguards are recommended but not required for our adult leagues.
  • Only turf shoes, flats, or tennis shoes can be worn. Any player caught wearing cleats will be asked to change shoes or asked to leave the field. Habitual offenders risk possible suspension or expulsion from current and future sessions.
  • No earrings or jewelry can be worn during games, with the exception of medical or religious items – the referee  must deem these items safe to be worn for play. The referee always makes the final decision on players’ equipment.

Rosters

  • A maximum of 18 players is allowed on your roster. 
  • All teams must have a roster and waivers submitted before their first game. Roster additions can be made until the third game of the session. 
  • Any team without a roster after the second game will forfeit each game until a roster is submitted. Continued violations may result in expulsion from the league.
  • If your team would like to challenge the roster of an opponent’s team, your team captain or coach must inform the referee of this before the start of the game or before 22 minutes on the clock. Roster checks will not be allowed after 22 minutes. The game will be stopped during a roster check, but not the clock. A Stars Indoor Sports staff member will enter the field and roster-check both teams. 
  • Players must present a valid ID with the player’s name and date of birth for the roster check. Any players present who are not on the team’s roster will result in a 5-0 forfeit loss for that team.
  • Players may not play for more than one team within a division. Players can only play for multiple teams at Stars Indoor Sports if these teams are age-appropriate for the individual player and the second team is not in the same division

Misconduct

  • Red Cards – The offending team must play short one player (Mandatory penalty – No early release) for 5 minutes. Once the 5-minute penalty time is over, that team can replace the red-carded player. The red-carded player must leave the facility immediately without exception.
  • Stars Indoor Sports reserves the right to decrease or lengthen any suspension, up to an infinite suspension from the facility. 

Feedback

  • All feedback regarding the facility, incidents, referees, other players, or teams must be submitted in writing. This can be accomplished by;
    1. Submitting a comment card located in the customer service office
    2. Emailing Soccer@StarsIndoorSports.com
    3. Texting the Sports Director at (614) 897-6227.

Youth Soccer

Team Fees

  • U7-U10 = 8v8, U11-U12 = 7v7, U13-U18 = 6v6, High School Coed = 6v6

  • Any players without ID during the roster check must present a valid ID (birth certificate, driver’s license, passport, Ohio Soccer Association Player Card – or equivalent player card) to Stars Indoor Sports within 48 hours of the game. Copies of these IDs can be emailed securely to Soccer@StarsIndoorSports.com with the subject line ‘Roster Check – *Your Team Name*’. If a valid ID is not provided within 48 hours, the game will be forfeited.

Little Stars Soccer

Fees & Registration

  • Open registration is offered throughout the session.
  • We will prorate registration fees for the remaining classes of the session.

Little Stars Free Trial 

  • To register for a free trial, please complete the Little Stars free trial request form HERE or email Sports@StarsIndoorSports.com
  • Registering for a free trial allows registrants one free class only from future Little Stars soccer sessions.
  • Little Stars free trialists must complete our online waiver before participating in a free trial class.

Equipment

  • No cleats allowed.

Parent and Child Classes

  • For our Tiny Stars, Shooting Stars, and Rising Stars (18 months – 4 years old) classes, parents are required to stay on the field at all times with their children.

Little Stars T-Ball

The Game

  • Games are between 6pm and 9pm
  • Each match-up is 25 minutes long, with as many games as possible players during a 25-minute running clock as possible.
  • Each team will have two 25-minute match-ups per night.

Equipment

  • No cleats allowed.

First Aid

  • An AED is located outside of the customer service office at the front of the building for emergency use. The AED location can be found on the Facility Map.

Rosters

  • Teams consist of 7 players on the field, with a normal roster of 7-15 players. 
  • Coed teams must have at least two females on the field at all times.
  • All players must be listed on the roster to be eligible to play. All players must have a completed online waiver.

Team Fees

  • A $200 deposit is due upon registering your team for the league. 
  • Team fees must be paid in full before your first game. Any team with a balance after their second game will receive a $100 late fee. 

Misconduct

  • Any player or coach who is ejected must leave the facility immediately, and the offending team will play down a player for the remainder of the game. All suspensions will incur a minimum two-game ban.
  • Stars Indoor Sports reserves the right to decrease or lengthen any suspension, up to an infinite suspension from the facility. 

Feedback

  • All feedback regarding the facility, incidents, referees, other players, or teams must be submitted in writing. This can be accomplished by;

Flag Football

The Game

  • Each game is 45 minutes long with two 22-minute halves and a 1-minute halftime.

Rosters

  • Teams consist of 6 players on the field.
  • Maximum roster size of 18 players.
  • Coed teams must have at least two females on the field at all times.
  • All players must be listed on the roster to be eligible to play. All players must have a completed online waiver.
  • If your team would like to challenge the roster of an opponent’s team, your team captain or coach must inform the referee of this before the start of the game or before the second half resumes. Roster checks will not be allowed after the second half resumes. The game will be stopped during a roster check, but not the clock. A Stars Indoor Sports staff member will enter the field and roster-check both teams. Players must present a valid ID with the player’s name and date of birth for the roster check. Any players present who are not on the team’s roster will result in a forfeit loss for that team.

Lacrosse

Session Dates

  • Northstar Lacrosse holds a Fall and Winter High School girls lacrosse league.
  • Typically the Fall session begins the last week of October and runs into the second or third week of December. 
  • The Winter session normally begins the first week of January and runs until President’s Day.
  • All games are played on Monday evenings.

  • Each team is allotted one hitting tunnel, located behind Field 1, 30 minutes before the game. No warm-up is permitted outside of the hitting tunnels, including the speed-training area.
  • Warm-up is only permitted on the field as availability and time allow.
