What Are the General Facility Rules for Stars Indoor Sports?
Before you step onto the turf, here's what every player, parent, coach, and visitor needs to know. These rules apply facility-wide across all sports and programs at Stars Indoor Sports.
Footwear
No outdoor cleats. Only turf shoes or tennis shoes are permitted on the turf. Any player caught wearing cleats will be asked to change shoes or leave the field immediately.
Outside Food & Drinks
Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the Stars Indoor Sports facility. No chewing gum is permitted, either.
The one exception is birthday parties — guests celebrating at the facility may bring a birthday cake or cupcakes. For all other visitors, food and drinks are available at the Starlight Café on-site.
Inclement Weather
Stars Indoor Sports will remain open and continue all scheduled activities unless a Level 2 Snow Emergency is declared for Franklin County. Check with your coordinator, coach, or team manager for any updates specific to your team's schedule.
Waivers
Yes — a signed waiver is required before you can play. All participants must have a Stars Indoor Sports Waiver & Release form on file before taking the field.
- Adults 18 and older must sign for themselves
- A parent or guardian must sign for anyone under 18
- No waiver on file = no participation, no exceptions
Filming Inside the Facility
Individual filming inside the facility is not permitted. All soccer games are live-streamed and recorded through LiveBarn, a subscription-based service. Stars customers can receive a discount using code strs-indr at checkout.
First Aid
An AED is located outside the customer service office at the front of the building for emergency use. The AED location is marked on the Facility Map.
Birthday Parties

Booking
To book a birthday party, call (614) 985-3003 or email Sports@StarsIndoorSports.com.
The guest count includes the birthday child and only children participating in the activities.
Payments
- Deposits are fully refundable up to 48 hours before your party date
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are non-refundable
- The remaining balance — including additional child fees and inflatable add-on fees — is due on the day of the party
Food & Drinks
No outside food or drinks are permitted, with the exception of a birthday cake or cupcakes. Party guests select food options when they arrive.

Adult Soccer
League rules, rosters, team fees, and policies for adult indoor soccer at Stars Indoor Sports.
Registration
Team and individual registration accepted. Individual registrations receive team assignments after the registration deadline.
Team Fees
- $200 deposit due at team registration
- Full team fees due before your first game
- $100 late fee for any balance remaining after game 1
The Game
- 44 minutes, running clock — no halftime
- All adult leagues: 7v7
- Coed teams: 2 females on the field at all times
- Goal difference capped at +5 (e.g., 7-1 becomes 6-1)
- Teams unable to field minimum players 10 min after start time forfeit 5-0
Equipment
- Shinguards: recommended, not required
- Only turf shoes, flats, or tennis shoes permitted — no cleats
- No earrings or jewelry (medical/religious items at referee's discretion)
- Habitual cleat offenders risk suspension or expulsion
Rosters
- Maximum 18 players per roster
- Roster and waivers required before game 1
- Roster additions allowed through game 3
- Teams without a roster after game 2 forfeit each game until submitted
- Roster challenges must be raised before the game or before 22 min on the clock
- Players not on the roster = 5-0 forfeit loss
- Players may not play for more than one team within the same division
Misconduct & Feedback
Red Cards: Player leaves immediately; team plays short for the remainder. Minimum two-game suspension. Stars reserves the right to increase or reduce any suspension up to a permanent ban.

Youth Soccer

The Game

- U13–U18 & High School Coed: 6v6
- Coed teams: 2 females on the field at all times

Age Groups
- Players must compete within their birth year bracket or older
- Players cannot play down a birth year
- Girls may play in boys' brackets; boys may not play in girls' brackets
Equipment
- Shinguards required for all youth leagues
- No cleats — only turf shoes, flats, or tennis shoes
- Players in cleats will be asked to change or leave the field
Rosters
- Maximum 18 players per roster; maximum 18 on bench per game
- Roster and waivers required before game 1
- Roster additions allowed through game 3
- Teams without a roster after game 2 forfeit each game until submitted
- Roster challenges before game start or before 22 min remaining
- Age challenges: player must present valid ID (birth certificate, driver's license, passport, OSA player card or equivalent) within 48 hours
- Copies may be emailed to Sports@StarsIndoorSports.com — Subject: "Roster Check – [Team Name]"
- Players not on the roster or without ID = 5-0 forfeit loss
Misconduct & Feedback

Little Stars Soccer

Fees & Registration

Dodgeball

The Game
- Games played between 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Each match-up: 25 minutes with a running clock
- Each team plays two 25-minute match-ups per night
Rosters & Equipment
- 7 players on the field; standard roster 7–15 players
- Coed teams: minimum 2 females on the field at all times
- All players must be on the roster and have a completed online waiver
- No cleats allowed
Misconduct & Feedback
Ejections: Player or coach leaves immediately; team plays short. Minimum two-game ban. Stars reserves the right to increase or reduce any suspension up to a permanent ban.

Flag Football

The Game
- 45 minutes total — two 22-minute halves with a 1-minute halftime
- Season format: 7 regular season games + 1 playoff game (8 games total)
Rosters & Equipment
- 6 players on the field; maximum roster of 18
- Coed teams: minimum 2 females on the field at all times
- All players must be on the roster and have a completed online waiver
- No cleats allowed
- Roster challenges before game start or before second half resumes
- Players not on the roster = forfeit loss
Misconduct & Feedback
Ejections: Player or coach leaves immediately. Minimum two-game ban. Stars reserves the right to increase or reduce any suspension up to a permanent ban.

Lacrosse
Northstar Lacrosse operates independently at Stars Indoor Sports. Please direct all inquiries to Northstar — not to Stars Indoor Sports.

Baseball

- 9 players on the field
- 6 innings or 55 minutes — game stops at the 55-minute mark
Warm-Ups
- Each team gets one hitting tunnel (behind Field 1) 30 minutes before game time
- No warm-ups permitted outside hitting tunnels, including the speed-training area
- On-field warm-ups only as time and availability allow
Rosters & Equipment
- Complete roster required before game 1
- Roster additions allowed through game 3
- All players must be listed on the roster and have a completed waiver
- No cleats allowed
Misconduct & Feedback
