Kickball Leagues in Columbus, Played Indoors
Remember recess? Adult kickball in Columbus brings it back, with real teams, real referees and a weeknight slot that fits around work. Our new league runs on Wednesday evenings at Stars Indoor Sports, so you get a full season of games on climate-controlled turf instead of muddy fields and cold November nights.
It’s built for fun first. You don’t need to have played since grade school to jump in, and every game is officiated by league umpires so the focus stays on playing, not arguing calls. The league is coed and open to players 18 and older, with at least four women on the field for every team. Bring a group of coworkers or friends, or sign up on your own and meet a new crew.

Your Fall Session, Week by Week
The session runs eight Wednesdays: six weeks of regular season, then playoffs. Every team makes the playoffs, so your season always ends in the postseason. There are no games on December 23. Games start at 6, 7, 8 or 9 PM and rotate each week, so no team is stuck with the same slot all season. Your schedule goes out before opening night.

Up to 8 teams. If fewer than 7 teams sign up, the schedule shifts to seven regular-season weeks with playoffs on December 30. Registration closes Thursday, October 29.
How Registration Works
Everyone registers as an individual, even if you’re coming with a full team. That keeps payment simple: each player pays their own $75 and nobody has to front the cost for the group.

Registration is $75 per player for the full session, playoffs included. Every player registers individually, whether you’re joining with friends or on your own.
Each player registers on their own and enters the same team name in the Notes and Comments section of the registration form. We use those team names to build the rosters, so double-check that everyone spells it the same way.
Yes. Register individually, leave the team name blank and we’ll place you on a team before the season starts.
Games are on Wednesday evenings at Stars Indoor Sports in Columbus, from November 4 to December 30, with no games on December 23. Games start at 6, 7, 8 or 9 PM, and start times rotate each week. Each game is 7 innings or 50 minutes, whichever comes first.
The league is coed and open to players 18 and older. Every player signs the Stars Indoor Sports waiver during registration and should bring a photo ID to games. Teams field 9 players and need at least 4 women in the lineup and on the field, and rosters can have up to 16 players. If you’re building a team with friends, keep that in mind when you recruit.
Turf shoes or sneakers. Metal cleats and bare feet aren’t allowed on the turf. The league supplies the game ball, and Stars sets up the bases.
Yes. After six weeks of regular season, every team moves on to the playoffs. Quarterfinals are Wednesday, December 16, and the semifinals and championship game are Wednesday, December 30. If fewer than 7 teams sign up, we play seven regular-season weeks and hold the playoffs on December 30.
Registration closes Thursday, October 29. Rosters and schedules are built right after the deadline, so we can’t guarantee a spot for late sign-ups.
The league needs at least 4 teams to run. If fewer than 4 teams are registered by the October 29 deadline, the session is canceled and every player gets a full refund.
