What Jobs Are Available at Indoor Sports Facilities?
At an indoor sports facility like Stars, the operation runs on a mix of on-field and behind-the-scenes roles — and most of them are accessible to people without formal sports industry experience. Here's a look at the types of positions you'll find at Stars:
Referee / Official
Our referees are the backbone of every league night at Stars. Soccer, flag football, and dodgeball all require officials who know the rules, can manage pace of play, and communicate clearly. No prior certification required — we train the right people.
Front Desk / Customer Service
The front desk team is the first face players and families see when they walk through the door. This role covers check-in, registration questions, phone and email communication, and general facility support during operating hours.
Concessions Staff
The Starlight Café team handles food and beverage service during peak game nights and events. Fast-paced, high-energy, and an essential part of the Stars experience for every player and fan in the building.
Facility Coordinator
Our Facility Coordinators are shift managers responsible for running the building during their scheduled shift. Coordinators oversee day-to-day operations, support staff, and keep everything moving smoothly for players and guests. Weeknight shifts are closing only. Weekend shifts are available as opening, mid, or closing. If you're organized, dependable, and comfortable being the person in charge — this role is for you.
Event & Tournament Staff
During tournaments and special events, Stars brings on additional staff to support scheduling, check-in, scorekeeping, and on-site logistics. Great for flexible, per-event availability.

How Old Do You Have to Be to Work at Stars Indoor Sports?
